The Campus Bookstore is celebrating a milestone this year--- 100 years. Started in 1909, as ‘Tech Supplies’, by two engineering students wanting to offer lower priced course materials to their fellow classmates, the Campus Bookstore continues to operate as a student run not-for-profit organisation.

We are proud to be among the few university bookstores in North America that offer a discount on course materials. We fulfill this mission by utilising the input we receive from the market we serve and by applying the highest quality management and service at every level of our operation.

A special toast to this faculty and other non-students who have given so much to ensure that not only does the Bookstore operate well, but that generations of engineering students have had the benefit of wise and thoughtful mentors. The likes of Heyding, Bennett, Dyer, Turcke, Cannon, Boyd - and many, many, more - have had profound impacts on scores of us who had the good fortune to serve together. Thank you.

And finally to the Managers - Jim Patterson and Chris Tabor and their predecessors - and staff, who are the ones who deserve 99% of the credit for the achievements of the last few decades. Congratulations on a remarkable milestone.
