Bookstore Centennial: Celebrating 100 Years!
The Campus Bookstore at Queen's is Celebrating its 100th Anniversary
The Campus Bookstore is a very unique enterprise. Students have always been inextricably involved in the affairs of the store, not only as patrons but as owners. Since the store's founding, it has been owned an operated by the students of the Queen's Engineering Society. From its earliest beginnings the Bookstore has been a nonprofit enterprise dedicated to offering students and faculty the highest quality of service at the lowest possible price. It has been said that the informal motto of the Campus Bookstore has been "quality academic services at minimum costs". The bookstore staff, QUESSI members and the Engineering Society look forward to another 100 years in pursuit of this goal.
We have prepared a series of resources to celebrate our Centennial. They are:
- 100-Year Timeline: A timeline of the Bookstore's development over the past 100 years.
- Events of 1909: A history of important events of 1909.
- GuestBook: An online GuestBook. (Now closed) Feel free to view those who have signed!
The Campus Bookstore wishes to thank it's many patrons over the past 100 years for helping us continue to serve our community!
